Overview

Description: Consists of a photocopy of a letter written by Lucien Rosenfeld to his cousins on August 7, 1945 from Veregeze, France. In the letter, Mr. Rosenfeld writes that he has recently discovered the fates of his immediate family, all of whom perished in the Holocaust. He describes the circumstances surrounding the deaths of his sisters, daughter, and wife, and writes that he has given up hope that his son, nephew, and brother-in-law, will return.
