    Brief Narrative
    Book, La Deportation, about the Holocaust in France that includes a tipped in dedication page, with a photograph of Fernand Brunetti in the concentration camp uniform he wore while he was imprisoned in Buchenwald concentration camp. Above the printed caption: exemplaire imprime specialement pour / FERNAND BRUNETTI / DEPORTE A BUCHENWALD is a handwritten inscription: 1942-1943 - à 1945. Brunetti was a French citizen, and it is not known why he was deported to Buchenwald. He returned to France after liberation in1945. Around 1946-47, he had a studio portrait taken of himself in this uniform.
