Roza Szarfharc Zederman collection

The collection consists of eight photographs depicting the Szarfharc family during the time of the Holocaust. The first is an image of five Jewish young women (in middle: Dawid Szarfharc's first wife, Tola). The second image is of Rojza Szarfharc donor's half-sister sitting on a toy horse. The third image is of Ewa Szarfharc [donor's paternal aunt]. The fourth imgae is of three Szarfharc sisters (from right: Roza, Celina, and Dorota). The fifth image is of Dawid Szarfharc wearing a Polish Army uniform, delivering a speech at an official celebration of 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Soviet Army. The sixth image is of a group of Polish Jews gathered at a Jewish cemetery in Łódź, Poland, for the burial of the ashes of Jewish women who perished in Nazi concentration camps (standing third on left is Mania Web). The seventh image is of Felek Tobiasz with his three half-sisters: Roza, Celina, and Dorota Szarfharc. The eighth image is of Felek Tobiaz playing chess with his friend KubaWilczynski.
