    Description
    The Martin Harth collection consists of a certificate issued to Meier Harth, a German Jewish Veteran of World War I, in Giessen, Germany, on July 13, 1934. Written on the side, in pencil (translation): "The enclosed Ehren Kreuz (Honor Medal)/may have helped my father's release [from a concentration camp]." Also includes a photograph of Meier Harth, seated, with an open book in his lap.
