Files of the bailiffs of Grójec region, Poland, related to the recovery of Jewish debts. Selected cases relate to Jews from different towns and villages of the Grójec county (Mogielnica, Zbrosza Duża, Błędów, Broniszew, Winiary, Głowaczów, Jadwiga, Otalążka, Miechowiec,Tarczyn, Goszczyn, Ryszki, Łatanka, Daszew, Wola Karolewska, Tomaszów gmina Konie, Trzylatków, Dąbrówka Stara, Dobiecin, Pielinów, Wilhelmów,Goliany, Worów, Świdno, Daszewice, Łychów and other places, as well as from the Grójec itself). The files generally contain documents typical for the execution of debt: a motion to the Court of Peace, the statement of a defendant, the claim of execution, i.e. the Verdict and Sentence of the Court of Peace, the warrant for execution, the requisition of an estate on account of a debt, announcement of selling by auction, and the payment of the debt.
