Melania Weissenberg collection

Diary: written by Melania Weissenberg (donor), b. October 27, 1930 in Krakow, Poland; daughter of Fajwel Weisenberg and Sara Kinstler Weisenberg. She write the diary in the years 1942-1944 while hiding in Dabrowa Tarnowska with an older Jewish girl; in Polish; Photographs: depicting Molly and her family before the war, wartime and after the war. In June 1948, Molly immigrated to Canada with a group of child survivors. Letter: written by Molly's cousin Bina, dated 9/11/1942; in Polish.
