- The collection includes a diary, in Polish, written by Melania Weissenberg from 1942-1944 while hiding in Dabrowa Tarnowska with an older Jewish girl. The collection also includes pre-war, wartime, and post-war photographs of Molly and her family and a letter written by Molly's cousin Bina, dated September 11, 1942.

Melania Weissenberg (b. October 27, 1930) was born in Krakow, Poland to Fajwel Weisenberg and Sara Kinstler Weisenberg. In June 1948, Molly immigrated to Canada with a group of child survivors.
