01:01:13 Julius Blatt walks towards the Arc de Triomphe as the camera pans left, tilts up, pans left and tilts back down to focus on Julius again. Julius walks across the busy street, looking at the camera as bikers and cars go past. Julius lights a cigarette with the Eiffel Tower in the background. He walks towards the camera smoking the cigarette. The camera tilts up on the Eiffel Tower. Henri Bouchard’s Apollon Musagète [Apollo with a Lyre] at the Palais de Chaillot. Camera pans up on a quote which says “Il dépend de celui qui passe - Que je sois tombe ou trésor - Que je parle ou me taise - Ceci ne tient qu' à toi - Ami n' entre pas sans désir” (It depends on who passes, Whether I be tomb or treasure; Whether I speak or am silent; This one depends on you. Friend, do not enter without desire). Camera tilts up from the gardens to the tip of the Eiffel tower. WS of the Palais de Chaillot. Shot pans left on a dense growth of trees.
