- Giselle Heimann Ratain donated her oral history interviews with her father and mother Kurt Heimann and Lotte Grünfeld Heimann and extended family members to the United Stated Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2016. In 2020, Giselle Heimann Ratain donated the documentary film "The Improbable Escape of Two Young Brothers from Nazi Germany: A Holocaust Story" to the United Stated Holocaust Memorial Museum's Library. The film documents the wartime experiences of George and Alexander Tscherny, members of the Grünfeld/Heimann family.
