    Description
    Private papers of Rabbi Abraham J. Klausner. The collection consists of correspondence on behalf of the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in Bavaria with American and British Jewish organizations, the U.S. military, and other chaplains regarding WWII survivors and their family members, includes a letter to Rabbi Philip S. Bernstein regarding the arrival of the first child in the Bavarian Zone, Nov 19, 1945, medical reports, list of employees of Jewish Committee in Munich, and other subjects related to situation of European Jews after WWII; also consist of articles, reports, financial statements, and newspaper clippings regarding Jewish rehabilitation and relief in Europe, condition of Jewish children, and situation of stateless Jews and a plan for their transfer to Palestine.
