    Description
    Registers and census of Busko town, including are registers of births, marriages and deaths and annexes to the registers (Files 1673-3086); files of registers for the years 1935-1939, 1941, 1942, 1945 and 1946, lists of artisans (File 622-alphabetical list of 1934), lists of commercial, industrial and craft companies, and related correspondence, records concerning industry and trade, e.g. leasing of stalls, halls and municipal lands (Files 1216-1218); education matters, as well as lists of schoolchildren and students. The collection also includes documents related to the Jewish community in Busko, e.g. records relating to elementary school teaching the basics of Judaism and the Hebrew language (cheders), and contributions for a synagogue with lists of donors.

Publication of more than 10 complete documents in an individual work requires the written authorization of the General Director.     Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Państwowe w Kielcach, Poland, Sygn. 2128. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in April 2017. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
