- Selected records from the Montana (Ferdinand) regional administration, Regional Court School Inspectorate as well as records from the City Administration of Lom, and Berkovitsa. Included are correspondence between regional administration, local Jewish communities and individual Jews pertaining to the registration of the Jewish-owned commercial companies, Jewish public organizations, elections of Jewish Community Board and Jewish school board; applications pertaining to the discriminatory Ant-Jewish legislation in accordance with the "Law for the Defense of the Nation", passport applications, residency permits, travel authorizations submitted by the members of the Jewish communities etc. Includes also surviving parts of the Archives of the Jewish communities of Lom and Berkovitsa (1942-1944) with the list of the members of the communities and correspondence files with the local authorities.

Records of the District Court-Lom and City Municipal Government-Ferdinand (Montana): Synagogue Board of Trustees in Ferdinand (Montana), Jewish School Board, and correspondence with Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2. Regulations of the local Government-Lom and Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Commerce, and Bulgarian National Bank; 3. Records of the rural municipal administration-Lute (Vladimirovo) and local Government-Berkovitsa: Correspondence, lists of Jews requested permission for travel, list of displaced Jews, list of 838 persons who can't leave the borders, issued passports, cleaning and disinfection of Jewish buildings; 4. Records of the Environmental Management-Ferdinand (Montana): Letters and telegrams to the Head of the Police Ferdinand (Montana) related to Jews in the regions, and confidential letters, reports, and lists on the emigration of Jewish families from the Ferdinand district; 5. Civil and commercial cases related to Jewish companies and trade in Lom district; 6. Records of the Jewish Community of Lom and Berkovitsa: letters, list of persons of Jewish origin residing in the Berkovitsa region, book of donation to synagogue, Jewish school records, a list of children of Jewish origin aged 7 to 14 in Berkovitsa.

- Source of acquisition is the Regional State Archives in Montana, Bulgaria, records obtained through the cooperative project with the Yad Vashem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in November 2017.
