- Collection of letters, photographic postcards, and memoir written by Robert Gunther Spiro in 2008 in which he describes the experiences endured by his family members during the Holocaust. Includes letters written by Gunter to his family in Germany and England; postcards sent to members of the Spiro-Lowenstein family in Berlin, Germany; and cards sent to Gunter Spiro in Gstaad, Switzerland in 1938 and 1939, where he was in boarding school. In 1939, he joined his family who fled Nazi occupation, arriving in New York in 1940.
