- Dr. Kaja Finkler donated her mother Golda Finkler's audio recordings to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in May 2018. Golda Finkler recorded her family history and life story as the basis for the book "Lives Lived and Lost: East European History Before, During, and After World War II as Experienced by an Anthropologist and Her Mother" which she coauthored with her daughter Kaja Finkler.

Oral History
Golda Finkler, born in Lublin, Poland, discusses her experiences from the first day of the war and early days in the Warsaw ghetto; going to Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland; her time in slave labor camps, including Skarszysk; a death march through Germany; her liberation and return to Poland; and her life in the United States following the war.
