Modigliani "foremost opponent of Fascism" and Gerhard Seger, former member of the German Reichstag who escaped from a "Hitler concentration camp. Meeting held under the "auspices of the San Francisco Joint Board of the International Ladies' Garment Worker's Union...and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America.

The advertisement refers to 70,000 Jews awaiting death in Roumania. The advertisement states "Roumania will give these 70,000 Jews to the Four Freedoms for 20,000 Lei ($50) a piece..."
