Abraham Senderovic discusses his childhood in Apsa, Czechoslovakia; his mother's death during his birth; being one of 10 siblings; his father and stepmother; leaving his family after the war began; working odd jobs in various countries; going to Palestine; joining the Israeli Army which was under British rule; eventually fighting in the War of Independence; the fates of his siblings; and reuniting with his younger brother.
