Maurice “Maury” Halfon Behar, born in 1938 in Biarritz, France, discusses his early childhood in Bayonne, France; his parents, Marco and Flora Behar; the arrest of his parents by the Germans on January 12, 1944, and being left behind because he had measles; being cared for by his neighbor, Marie Cazous, and passing as her son; being adopted by relatives from the United States and moving to New York City in 1947; spending his adolescent years in the South Bronx; adjusting to life in New York; studying business and prelaw at New York University; serving in the United States Army; his first job as a welfare investigator for the City of New York; entering a trainee program at Playtex, and continuing with various sales positions; moving to Los Angeles, CA; receiving his real estate broker’s license and starting a company, Northridge Equity, with a partner; moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1990; starting a new career in hotel security; his admiration for those that have cared for him in his youth; taking a family trip to France; and his experience visiting his place of birth for the first time since leaving as a child.

Raymonde "Ray" Fiol discusses her experiences during the Holocaust when she was a child; being hidden by a Christian family of Resistance fighters in Nazi-occupied Paris, France; getting married to American serviceman Phil Fiol; leaving Paris in 1957; learning details of her family’s history from a woman in France who had researched the destiny of the local Jewish community; living in New York City where she worked in inventory control; retiring to Las Vegas, NV around 2003; being active in the local Holocaust Survivors Group and becoming the president of the group in 2007; her role as a member of the Nevada Governor’s Advisory Council on Education Relating to the Holocaust and the coordinating council of Shoah International; receiving the Nevada Senior Citizen of the Year award from the Nevada Delegation of the National Silver Haired Congress and the Aging Services Directors Organization in 2014; and being named Mensch Volunteer of the Year by the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas in 2013.

Stephen “Pista” Nasser, born in 1931, discusses his Hungarian nickname Pista; his experiences during the Holocaust; being sent to a concentration camp in 1944 along with his family; being sent to Muhldorf concentration camp with his brother; keeping a diary while he was in the camp; losing his diary and rewriting his memories at the time of liberation; being sponsored by the Canadian Jewish Congress to emigrate; living in California; moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1993; sharing his Holocaust story with others; and writing a memoir, "My Brother’s Voice".

Gerd (aka Gary) Sternberg, born on August 25, 1931 in Cuxhaven, Germany, discusses his parents Augusta (a devout Christian of Polish ancestry who had fled Russian persecution) and Herman (a German-born Jew salesman and inventor); his older sister Ruth; conditions for Jews in Germany in the late 1930s; the arrest and deportation of his father to a concentration camp; the release of his father; his father's and later his whole family's migration to Shanghai, China; going by train through Russia to China; being transferred to a Japanese ship and crossing the Yellow Sea; arriving in Shanghai district called Hongkew; living in the Jewish ghetto in Hongkew from May 1939 to July 1948; immigrating to the United States; living in Cleveland, OH and Los Angeles, CA; getting married in 1957; living in Las Vegas, NV, where he worked for Sears selling washing machines, and had a repair business and an importing business with his wife; working at Caesars Palace; his Jewish identity; converting to Judaism; and being an active member of the Jewish community.
