The collection consists of papers, photographs, and printed matter from the military service of Lester M. Libo. Includes items related to his denazification work including his personal notebook, Fragebogen used in denazification and confiscated items including propaganda material, money, medals, and a piece of cloth with a swastika insignia. In addition, several newspapers and an issue of Army Talks (28 October 1945) and posted military government notices.
Lester M. Libo collection
Document
Documents, photographs, and printed matter from the military service of Lester M. Libo. Included are documents, a personal notebook, and a blank questionnaire (Fragebogen) related to his work with denazification efforts in Regensburg, Germany. Other material includes clippings, a confiscated letter and annotated loose book pages from a copy of Masterpieces of Wit and Humor, personal photographs taken during his military service, cigarette cards and Nazi propaganda photographs, programs and tickets from cultural events in Regensburg, and posted military government notices.

Circular white fabric shoulder patch with swastika. Three National Labor Front [Arbeitsfront] pins (2019.494.9-.11) had formerly been attached to the patch.
