    Overview

    Description
    Consists of a guest book with individual detailed inscription belonging to the artist Heinz Greifenhagen (1899-1944), known professionally as Henri Hague, who fled Berlin to Paris in the mid 1930s. Interspersed are illustrations and music notes. Among those represented are members of the Greifenhagen family, including Manfred Greifenhagen (1896-1945). Other loved ones and friends, such as the actor Kurt Gerron (1897-1944) and the artist Fritz Kuttner (1903-1991), are also represented. Included is also a typewritten original copy of the poem, Die Ochsen (1944), which was delivered to Manfred's wife Sophie posthumously.
