Dana and Richard Knox recorded the conversation by video conference call in February 2021. Kitty Weiss Penner and Fritzi Zinger Nozik were joined on the call by Roz Herman, the wife of survivor Kurt Herman; family members of Gilbert and Eleanor Kraus; and staff members from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
