- The collection consists of personal papers, publications, correspondence, photographic slides, photographs, a diary, and artifacts pertaining to UNRRA administrator Clarence Scott "C.S." Anderson who served with the Mission to Poland in 1945 and 1946. Also included is documentation concerning Anderson's 1945 visit to Majdanek concentration camp.

- The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2022 by Barbara Underwood Scharff, granddaughter of Clarence Scott "C.S." Anderson.
