- Darin Bresnitz interviews his grandfather Joseph Bresnitz concerning his family history, life in Hungary, Holocaust experience, and emigration to Canada. On March 20, 1944 Joseph Bresnitz was arrested and deported from the Budapest train station and subjected to imprisonment in Auschwitz, performed forced labor at Wüstegiersdorf, Marbach, Bergen-Belsen, Hildesheim, and an underground quarry forced labor camp near Hanover. He was liberated by the British from Bergen-Belsen on April 15, 1945.
