    Description
    Consists of documents primarily relating to the Liebehnthal family and their flight from Nazi Germany to Cuba during the Holocaust. Collection includes:
    Release paper for Otto Liebenthal from Dachau - Feb 27, 1937 (according to camp records, he arrived at Dachau on 19 Dec 1936); Release paper for Otto Liebenthal from Buchenwald - November 23, 1938 (arrested on Kristallnacht. According to camp records he arrived on November 11, 1938); Health certitficate issued for Alice Liebenthal, November 21, 1938; Entry papers into Cuba issued to Karolina Liebenthal; Collection also includes Kinderausweis issued to Manfred Schoen, April 1939 who also fled Nazi Germany to the United States with his family.
