    Brief Narrative
    Plate that is part of a porcelain dinner service consisting of plates and tureens marked Zeh, Scherzer & Co., U.S. Zone, Germany (mark in use 1946-1949). The service was purchased by the donor's parents, Israel Chil (Jerzy) and Gittel (Genia) Posluszny while living as displaced persons in Germany after the war.
