    Description
    The collection consists of correspondence written by the donor’s father's parents in Germany, his brother in Holland, and sister in Palestine; May-December 1938. The letters depict everyday life, increasing concerns, and changing plans to flee Germany. There is also correspondence to and from various US Senators and Congressmen and the State Department. Additional correspondence is from several businessmen about the donor’s father's attempts to help his family come to the U.S., a letter from the donor’s paternal uncle who survived in Holland, dated 5/12/45, a book, and a collection of family photographs.
