    Brief Narrative
    The Sidur is part of a collection of materials pertaining to Erich and Erna (Alexander) Fränkel. The materials cover Erich's work as a patent attorney both in Germany and after his subsequent immigration to the United States. Erich Fränkel immigrated to the United States in 1937 after fleeing with his wife and mother-in-law to Luxembourg. Erna followed in 1938. The couple later settled in Alexandria, Virginia.
