Charles Deibel collection
Consists of correspondence, photographs, photographic negatives, documents, and scrapbook pages owned by Charles Deibel, a member of United States Army and a defense attorney at the Dachau War Crimes Trials. Includes both personal and professional correspondence, including letters from members of his extended family, Heinrich Deibel and Florence Miners, who lived in Germany during the war; and letters from a survivor, John Szeptycki, who worked with the military during the trials. Also includes a personal scrapbook related to the university life and wedding of Deibel and his wife Jane, personal photographs and negatives, and photographs and negatives from the Dachau trials.
