Hermanowski family collection

Collection Summary
The collection consists of a firefighter's armband, a forced labor badge, postage stamps and other artifacts, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of Wojciech Hermanowski and his family before and during the Holocaust in Warsaw, Poland, their deportation to concentration and slave labor camps following the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1944, and their postwar experiences as displaced persons in Germany and Sweden.
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2014 by Wojciech Hermanowski.
