Correspondence, documents and photographs illustrating the experiences of Laura Sternberg (b. in Kostrina, Czechoslovakia [present day Ukraine] in 1930) and interned in Auschwitz, Neuengamme and Bergen-Belsen concentration camps, and her husband Adolf Preizler (b. in Marmorosch [Marmorosziget], Romania in 1926) and interned in Auschwitz, Mauthausen, and Melk concentration camps. Photographs include postwar images of Laura in Sweden and of Adolf in German displaced persons camps Feldafing and Prien. Book of poems transcribed and written by Laura post-war in Sweden, in Hungarian. Menu from ship on which Laura Sternberg came over to the United States after the war.
