The Erbgesundheitsgerichte were in the German Reich by the Law for the Prevention of Genetically Diseased Offspring introduced from July 14, 1933. They decided to outwardly quite shaped process on forced sterilizations mentally and physically disabled people, patients of psychiatric hospitals and nursing homes as well as alcoholics and thus were tool for the enforcement of Nazi racial hygiene that belittled the man a mere object of state power of disposal until May 1945. due to the decisions of Erbgesundheitsgerichte about 350,000 people were forcibly sterilized [Wikipedia]
