The collection consists of a typewriter and case, documents, photographs, and written testimony relating to the experiences of the family of Leon and Olga Thau and their sons Felix and Benjamin before the Holocaust in Germany and during and after World War II in the United States.
Consists of family photographs, post-war documents, and written testimony related to the Holocaust and post-war experiences of the family of Leon and Olga Thau. Includes pre-war family photographs; documents regarding the birth of two of their sons, Felix and Benjamin, in Germany; and the family's emigration and naturalization in the United States. Also includes testimony written by Felix Thau about his mother's passing in 2004 and a collection of poems entitled "Holocaust Reverberations."
