    Biography
    Sruel Bajtelman (1923-1945), a cousin of Rachel Ejber, was a Jewish resistance fighter who survived the Wlodawa ghetto. Soon after his return to his home town he was murdered by Poles.

    Rachel Birnbaum (born Rachel Ejber) was born in Wlodawa, Poland. She survived deportation to Sobibor and a period of hiding with peasants.
