    Biography
    Daisy Gross (born Daisy Leier) is the daughter of Alexander and Olga (Deuts) Leier. She was born April 20, 1939 in Nitra, Slovakia. In 1944 at the age of five, Daisy was placed in hiding in the home of Antonia Pavticova in Solany. For the next year Daisy lived under the assumed name of Annichka Vovotny. Following the liberation she was taken to Hungary. Daisy was the sole survivor of her family.
