The original caption reads: "Women political prisoners, freed by advancing allied armies at their German prison camp at Belson [sic], Germany, wash their teeth with utensils supplied them by their liberators. Woman at left is chopping up a door for fire wood. Camp is now operated by British 2nd Army."
