Lea and her sister were born in 1929 and 1938 respectively.  Both survived the war by hiding on the run, either by themselves or on farms.  Their father, Bernard Tepicht was deported to the Beaune-la-Rolande transit camp and was sent from there to Auschwitz, where he perished in 1942.  Their mother was also deported to Auschwitz via Drancy in June 1942, where she perished as well.
