Sylvia Kramarski and Henry Leshno pump water on the Pawlak family farm in Krushev.
They were hidden, together with Sylvia's father and other Jews in an underground bunker on the farm. The Pawlaks (who were ethnic Germans) were paid for hiding them. Sylvia stated that Mrs. Pawlak assisted her in baking Matzot in the middle of the night for Passover.
