- A message sent by Bela and Ferenc Weisz of Szepsi, Slovakia, via the Nunziatura Apostolica in Budapest, to Tibor and Rivka Tannenbaum, Hungarian Jews living in Jerusalem.
The letter was sent on January 23, 1943 but was written on January 18. The Hungarian text reads: "The entire family is well. Zalmen writes to us on regular bases. We expect notification from Bela and Ferenc. Mention their names. The photos were not yet taken. I am studying with Jeno. Greetings to Konigsberg, Dusinsky, Sreiber and Weisz." The letter bears a stamp of the British censor in Palestine. [The letter may be interpreted as a request for the Tannenbaum family to arrange for immigration certificates for the Weisz family.] - Date
