In the second row: second from left is Fela Kamionkowska Kiwajko and first from right is Hana Kamionkowska Bromberg.  Both were cousins of donor's late husband, Joseph Steinberg.

    Biography
    Renata Gejler Avinoam, the donor, was born in Warsaw on August 9, 1933. Her parents, Eliezer Gejler (b. 1897) and her mother, Miriam Koppel (b. 1901) left Warsaw in November 1939 for Bialystok, where they joined Miriam's family. In June 1941 the family escaped to Saratov in the USSR and later to Rafalofka. In 1945 the Gajler family returned to Warsaw. Renata her husband, Joseph Steinberg and their son left Poland in 1968.
