A postcard sent to Marcel Hajsky by his uncle, Rudolf Goldstein, from the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

Photograph | Photograph Number: 26138A

A postcard sent to Marcel Hajsky by his uncle, Rudolf Goldstein, from the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

Rudolf writes that Marcel's mother, Anna (Goldstein) Hajsky, and grandmother, Fanny Goldstein, are healthy, but that his aunt, Marie (Goldstein) Klepetar, is no longer in Theresienstadt. Rudolf also thanks Marcel for the care package he sent them and writes that Anna would like to receive photographs of Marcel and his brother, Jan. Fanny sends the children her love. Marcel and Jan were able to escape deportation because their father, Cenek Hajsky, was not Jewish.
