Photograph | Photograph Number: 28569A

A postcard sent by Jonas and Anka Leah Tenenbaum in the Warsaw ghetto to Anka's sister and daughter in Chicago.

The Polish text reads: "To my dear sister, brother-in-law and daughter. We are healthy but we have no means of support. Please send bigger food parcels. Nechama is in Sterdyn, Srulik got married, and we have no income. Please send food for us to survive. We still have hope, but we are exhausted. Other people receive money through Overseas Distributors. Find out about it. Don't wait to send food. With love, your father, mother and siblings Tenenbaum."
