Snapshot of thirteen-year-old Ditta Bretholz, which she sent to her brother Leo in France on the occasion of his twenty-first birthday.

This photo, which was sent via a cousin in Switzerland, was to be his last picture of Ditta before she was killed.
The inscription on the back of the photo reads, "With my best wishes for luck on your birthday from your sister who always thinks of you." The picture was sent to Leo in France via a cousin in Switzerland.
