German soldiers patrol a public square in Czestochowa, where the bodies of those they shot have been collected. One photograph from an album belonging to a member of a Wehrmacht machine gunners' unit, which was found after the war by Lorenzo Hawkins (the donor's grandfather), an American serviceman in Company B, 56th Armored Engineer Battalion.
