Group portrait of members of an Akiva Zionist youth hachshara [agricultural collective] that had moved to Vilna after the German occupation of Poland.
Among those pictured are Dov Kipnis, David Berger, Tova Maunter, Aaron Kaufman, and Huma Dank. All but ten perished during the war. Of those who survived, only four reached Palestine.
