    Biography
    Elizabeth and Robert Benda owned a clothing factory, retail store and villa in Liberec, Czechoslovakia. When the Germans occupied the Sudentenland in 1939, the Bendas moved to Prague, where they remained until their deportation to the Lodz ghetto in 1941 or 1942.
