Law Enforcement and Society: Lessons of the Holocaust (U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Development event). Charles H. Ramsey, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia, delivered the keynote lecture.

This collaborative program cosponsored by the Anti-Defamation League provides law enforcement officers with a history of the Holocaust, and offers them a serious opportunity to examine and understand their personal and professional responsibilities in our pluralistic democracy. Chief Ramsey has required this training for all D.C. Metropolitan Police Department recruits.
