Among those pictured are Avremele Botwinik (seated behind the cake), Moshe Bastunski (seated fourth from the right, next to Avremele), Avigdor Katz (seated second from the right), Elisha Koppelman (first on the left), Hillel Botwinik (a brother, standing third from the left), Yitzhak Botwinik (a brother, standing fifth from the left). Only the Bar Mitzvah boy survived the war (as a partisan). Elisha Koppelman was killed by members of the Polish Home Army. The others were killed by the Germans during the September 1941 mass shooting action in Eisiskes.
