Portrait of Hinda Sonenson Tawlitski reading a book.

Hinda Sonenson, the sister of Moshe Sonenson, was a student in the first class of the female school in Eisiskes. Her husband Rabbi Ben Zion Tawlitski immigrated to the United States. The American Embassy in Warsaw refused to issue her a visa. She and her four children were killed by the Germans during the September 1941 mass shooting action in Eisiskes.
