Benyamin Kabacznik, a Polish patriot poses for a formal portrait in his officer's uniform.
Though he had been an officer in the Polish army, he was murdered by members of the Polish Home Army on February 20, 1944, with his wife, son, ten other Jews, and Aneza Bikewiczowa, the righteous Polish woman who hid them in a pit on her farm.
