Photograph | Photograph Number: 39528

Jews and non-Jews await food distribution in front of the soup kitchen.

German soldiers helped to distribute the food. The building that housed the soup kitchen belonged to Leib der Grober (the fat one), who immigrated to the United States. The middle house belonged to Avraham-Asher, and the third house to Hayyim Leibke Paikowski.
