Luba Ginunski, one of the shtetl's leading Communists, distributed land to five hundred poor Polish peasants in the autumn of 1940. Luba, is pictured dressed in black, speaking to a woman with a white kerchief. She survived the war in the Soviet interior and afterwards immigrated to Israel. - Date
