The printed messages from the camp commandant informs the recipient that each prisoner may receive a 1kg Christmas package containing bread, Christmas baked goods, hard sausage, tobacco products, and toilet articles. The package may not contain currency or coin, preserves in cans, stamps, photographs, letters or cigarette lighters and matches. If a package is not correctly addressed, the contents will confiscated and "used for the benefit of those prisoners who receive no packages from home."
